Sing Hosanna! will host its Christmas in August dinner theater at noon Aug. 11 at St. Peter’s Parish Hall, 127 Franklin St. The show will be the Christmas western melodrama “Rollin’ in Dough in Mistletoe” (or “Don’t Crack Jingle Bell Rock”). Also featured will be the concert “Christmas from the Heart,” arranged by Mark Bryner, featuring the Sing Hosanna! Vocal Ensemble. Admission is $22 per adult and $7 per child age 10 and younger. Freeport Theatre Festival’s 29th summer season presentation of “Washington in the Ohio Country,” a historical drama written by resident playwright Rennick Steele, concludes with performances at 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
