“Absence, A Play About Dementia” will be staged Sept. 21, 22 and 23 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College. Presented by Newhaven Court at Clearview, the play follows the life of 74-year-old Helen Bastion, as she begins to suffer lapses of memory and words lose their meaning and reality fragments. The play is directed by Larry Stock of the Succop Theater and includes a cast of experienced actors from the Butler County area. For tickets, call 724-940-5544.

Butler Little Theatre’s upcoming season will start with “The Dog Logs” by C.J. Johnson on Sept. 28.
