BEAVER FALLS — Portersville Christian School's production of “The Wizard of Oz” has been nominated in five categories for the Geneva College Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards to be presented May 18.

The awards honor outstanding high school musical productions in Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties.

Nominations from Portersville Christian School's production of “The Wizard of Oz” include: outstanding male in a supporting role, Josiah Everett as the Lion; outstanding female in a supporting role, Mary McDonald as the Wicked Witch; noteworthy individual performer, Joel Graham as the Tin Man; Outstanding sets and scenery; Outstanding costumes.

The awards will be presented during a ceremony at 7 p.m. May 18 at Geneva College's Metheny Fieldhouse.
