Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St., hosts the annual Christmas Art Show and Sale through Saturday. The Regional Elementary Art Show will be exhibited from Jan. 31 to Feb. 10, and the Regional Middle and High School Art Show will be from Feb. 21 to March 3. Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents five seasonal evergreen trees decorated with this year’s theme Beloved Children’s Books, featuring decorations inspired by “The Cat in the Hat,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Jungle Book” and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” through Jan. 7. The trees flank the museum’s 18th-century Neapolitan presepio Nativity scene, handcrafted between 1700 and 1830. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except closed Tuesdays and holidays. Extended hours are until 8 p.m. most Thursdays. Admission is $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for senior citizens age 65 and older, and $11.95 for students with ID and children ages 3 to 18.
