A car crashed into the side of May’s Music Shoppe about 12:30 p.m. Thursday following a two-car accident at the intersection of Franklin and Jefferson streets.

The driver of the car suffered moderate injuries, according to Chief Nick Ban of the Butler fire department. The driver of the other vehicle was transported with minor injuries.

The car hit an empty waiting room, said Josh May, the owner of the shop. It broke the glass window and damaged the masonry of the wall. “Had it been after school let out, there would have been people in there,” May said.
