A Butler man died today after falling three stories from a West North Street apartment on Monday.

After the fall occurred 6:48 p.m. at 427 W. North St., Derek Jon Davenport, 30, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital before being moved to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was pronounced dead at 12:06 a.m. today.

Butler police are investigating the circumstances of the fall.

No other information was released by police.
