The Northern Allegheny County Senior Softball League has registrations available at NACSSL.com.

This slow-pitch league was founded in 1987 and is a competitive draft league with eight-team divisions at age 52-plus and age 62-plus. New player evaluations are held in March and April.

Teams play an average of two games a week from May through July, followed by a double-elimination tournament in August. Games are played at the North Park Senior Complex at the Lodge at North Park.

HERMITAGE — The Penn-Ohio Athletic Club Blue Storm will hold AAU basketball tryouts March 8 at Kennedy Catholic High School.

Tryouts are for boys and girls in grades 3-12. Cost is $25 and includes a reversible practice jersey.
