Following the Wednesday night snowfall, 11 vehicle accidents were reported in Butler County between midnight and 8 a.m. today.

Butler County Emergency Services reported most of the accidents were minor.

A two-vehicle accident on Route 228 in Adams Township was reported in a 6:55 a.m. call to 911. No medical transport was required.

An abandoned vehicle that had wrecked into a utility pole on Holyoke Road in Center Township was reported in a 2:20 a.m. call to 911.

The national weather service reports accumulation between 1.5 inches in Slippery Rock up to 4 inches in Saxonburg and Sarver.

The weather brought two-hour delayed start in the Karns City, Freeport, and South Butler school districts.

The weather service forecasts scattered snow showers leading into this evening. The low tonight will be 12 with new accumulation of less than an inch possible.
