A two-vehicle accident slowed traffic on Route 19 in Cranberry Township on Monday afternoon. The accident was reported at about 1:15 p.m., when an SUV appeared to have collided with a car before striking a light post at the intersection of Hartners Road and Route 19. Cranberry EMS, police and fire were on scene of the accident. One lane of Route 19 was shut down due to the wreck. The traffic signals at the intersection were switched to blinking red and yellow, as police directed traffic through. Officials on the scene had no additional information.
