Grace McClelland

Grace Margaret Moyer McClelland, 87, of Harmony, passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Born Dec. 19, 1934, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. Moyer and Estella “Mae” Kniess Moyer.

Grace was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, and had recently attended Grace Church of Harmony.

She was a 1952 graduate of Zelienople High School.

Grace enjoyed sewing and quilting, and making all of her children’s clothing. She also enjoyed baking, puzzles, card games and had an excellent work ethic.

Grace will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four sons, Denny (Linda) McClelland, Brad (Joni) McClelland, Jeff (Cathy) McClelland and Bud (Rita) McClelland; her two daughters, Leetta (Wayne) Bieber and Amy Brown; her nine grandchildren, Denny McClelland Jr., Tommy (Missy) McClelland, Mary Beth McClelland, Levi (Meghan) McClelland, Sarah (Pol Torres) McClelland, Kaylin (Brandon Fritzley) McClelland, Curtis (Saige) Brown, Isaac Brown and Zane McClelland; her seven great-grandchildren, Gabby, Audrey, Ben, Brooke and Cormac McClelland, Grace Fritzley, and Adaline Brown; her sister, Ruth Dietrich; her brother, Ray (Jean) Moyer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. “Bud” McClelland, whom she married Oct. 13, 1961, and who passed away June 28, 2003; her brother, John Moyer; her sisters, Lois Groves, Vera Jean Davis, and her infant sister, Mary Jane Moyer.

MCCLELLAND — Friends of Grace Margaret Moyer McClelland, who died Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter J. Everett officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zelienople.
