SRU women picked atop soccer poll
LOCK HAVEN — The Slippery Rock University women’s soccer team has been picked to finish first in the PSAC West by the preseason coaches poll.
Rachel Edge, the 2019 PSAC West Athlete of the Year, returns to The Rock along with 2019 all-region honorees Jordyn Minda, Emma Yoder and Kayla Swope. SRU was 14-2 last season.
Mercyhurst, Gannon, Edinboro and Indiana round out the top five in the poll. Bloomsburg is picked to win the PSAC East, with West Chester, East Stroudsburg, Millersville and Kutztown rounding out the top five.
