Rotarians in Action

On April 22, 2019, Specialty Concrete donates the labor to finish concrete work on the Rotary Club of Butler's new shelter at Rotary Park in the city's Island neighborhood.

The Rotary Club of Butler has held three Luncheon for Literacy events and has raised $32,000 to benefit the adult literacy programs at Butler County Community College. In 2005, Harry Hunter, left, and Robert Hunter, right, co-owners of Hunter Truck Sales, make a donation to the Butler Rotary to put the group's Sri Lanka tsunami survivors' fund drive over its $100,000 goal. Rotarians Dale Pinkerton, middle left, and Ron Vodenichar accepted the donations made by Butler County residents. The money was used to repair a vo-tech school in Sri Lanka and build 25 houses for widows and their families in that country.
