Four Butler athletes fared well at the NPC Mid-Atlantic Bodybuilding Show at the Tanglewood Center Saturday.

Christine Patton, competing in her first show ever, took first place in military, true novice, novice, overall Open and overall Master 40.

Jason Smith, in his first NPC show, took first place in men’s bodybuilding Masters and third in Open. In men’s classic physique, he took first place in true novice, overall novice and Masters, second in Open.

Ben Cardone took second place in men’s physique Open B and novice B.

Ian Freed, in his first show ever, took first place in Masters over 35 and second in true novice.
