A cavernous new warehouse and distribution center has been approved for the Victory Road Industrial Park, but the company that will occupy the new space remains a mystery.

Clinton Township supervisors at their September meeting approved a plan presented by the developer SunCap Property Group of Pittsburgh for a 220,000-square-foot building to be used as a warehouse and distribution center.

Joe Saeler, director of the Community Development Corporation of Butler County, said because of a nondisclosure agreement, he is unable to divulge the tenant that plans to occupy the new building.

Saeler could only say that information on the tenant likely will be released within the next three weeks, but a regional publication using unnamed sources has identified Bayer Corp. as the company planning to inhabit the warehouse and distribution center.
