Something will remind me

I never know just when

It might be something someone says

Then it all comes back again.

The times we spent together

The happiness the fun

Then once again I feel the pain

Of life without my son.

They say time is a healer

I know that is not true.

Not a day goes by dear David

That I don’t cry for you.

David you are so missed and still so loved.

I cry for the life you didn’t get to finish

And for all the things you are missing.
