Vehicle crashes into primary care building on Route 19

A Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into the front of the Absolute Primary Care UPMC building on Route 19 in Cranberry on Friday morning.The building incurred minor structural damage where the vehicle hit the wall.

The building incurred minor structural damage where the vehicle hit the wall.

Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company Assistant Chief John Pristas said that one person who was in the waiting room inside of the building when the vehicle hit was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry by Cranberry Township EMS.

“They were taken as a precautionary measure,” said building owner Tricia Gizienski.

Cranberry Township EMS, Cranberry Township Police, and Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to the incident after receiving the call at 10:52 a.m.
