James P. Selzer
James P. Selzer, 86, of Saxonburg died peacefully Wednesday in the arms of Rene, his loving wife of 63 years, at St. Barnabas Health System in Gibsonia.
Born Nov. 3, 1928, in Pittsburgh he was the son of Frank and Ida Goldstrom Selzer.
He was a salesman for Chinet, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, where he served on church council. He enjoyed spending time at his camp, time with his family, golfing, fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Irene M. Scholz Selzer, who he married Aug. 30, 1951; three sons, Timothy (Linda) Selzer of North Fort Myers, Fla., Donald (Liz) Selzer of Chicora and Stephen (Linda) Selzer of North Hills; four daughters, Susan (Richard) Crampton of Penn Township, Diane (Joseph) Sikorski of Saxonburg, Mary Lou (Tim) Tabisz of Valencia and Nancy (Robert) Klein of North Hills; 18 grandchildren, Michael (Halee) Sikorski, Adam (Jenn) Sikorski, Brooke Crampton, Andy Crampton and his fiancee, Angela, Becky Crampton, Jeremiah (Dawn) Selzer, Tammy Selzer, Melissa Murphy, Rose Murphy, Tim (Meghan) Tabisz, Greg Tabisz, Hayleigh Tabisz, Kyle Klein, Abby Klein, Justin Selzer, Cody Selzer, Matthew Selzer and Joshua Selzer; Pappy to Mylee, Gavin, Kallin, Gracie, Logan and Baby Ski, Harrison, Henry, Luka, Brayden and Aspen; and also many, many loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one granddaughter, Brandi Tabisz.
