Delores Hackbarth

Delores “Dolly” Hackbarth, 66, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born April 21, 1952, in Eldorado, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Edwards Hackbarth.

Dolly was a retired licensed practical nurse. She worked for various hospitals throughout her career.

She enjoyed bingo, reading, playing computer games and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Surviving are her son, Nathan Smith, and her daughter, Michele Smith, both of Slippery Rock; her grandson, Dylan Gibbons; her sister, Joyce (Sam) Rupert of West Freedom, Pa.; her brother, Doug (Kim) Hackbarth of Bruin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her former husband, Gary Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pearl Myers.
