Joseph T. Walker Jr.

Joseph T. Walker Jr.

Joseph T. Walker Jr., 68, of Adams Township, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 28, 1953, in Cecil Township, he was the son of Joann Jean Desmet Walker and the late Joseph T. Walker Sr.

Joe was a master plumber by trade for Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 95, and worked as a project manager for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Upon retirement, he found joy and a sense of fulfillment in driving a school bus. In his free time, he enjoyed riding and touring with his wife and friends on the Harley, and exercising, especially walking and cycling.

Joe was a kind and loving son, brother, father, husband, uncle and friend. He faithfully served God through his belief in the Christian faith.

Joe brought light to everyone's life. We will all miss the way he would light up a room with his big smile.

In addition to his mother, Joann, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Kathleen A. Denk Walker; his children, Melissa Ellis, Melinda (Anthony) Ferrante, Tammy (Brian) Rebholz and Joe (Jodie Moss) Walker; his six grandchildren; his six siblings, Christina (Barry) Simpson, Rose (Charlie) Coffield, Anna (James) Adamski, Trish Walker, Roberta (Daniel) Dantry and Carolyn (Paul) Smith; his brothers-in-law, Dennis (Michelle) Denk, Robert (Terri) Denk and James (Rachel) Denk; his sister-in-law, Jean Denk; and many nieces and nephews.
