Knapp nets Senior Amateur golf title
PHILADELPHIA — Former St. Jude Golf Club member and five-time Butler Eagle County Amateur champion Sean Knapp won the Pa. Senior Amateur Championship Wednesday at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
Knapp carded a 5-under par 139 in the 36-hole event. He defeated runner-up Glenn Smeraglio of Lu Lu Country Club by three strokes.
