The unofficial results for Butler County as of Tuesday night for the state house races in the 8th,10th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 60th and 64th districts.

Election results are unofficial and do not include all mail-in ballots. The results were gathered as of midnight Tuesday in contested races and are incomplete. Many of the 31,000 mail-in ballots received are still being counted.

State Rep. Timothy Bonner held the lead election night heading toward a possible reelection to the state 8th District House of Representatives.According to Butler County's unofficial returns Tuesday night, Bonner, a Republican, led with 8,557 votes to his opponent Democrat Phil Heasley's 1,795 votes. Election results are unofficial and do not include all mail-in ballots.According to Mercer County's election site, none of their precincts had reported unofficial returns by 12 a.m.

State Rep. Aaron Bernstine holds the lead in all three counties of House of Representatives 10th District in his bid for reelection.According to the Butler County's unofficial returns Tuesday night, Bernstine led with 1,475 votes. Democrat Kolbe Cole received 716 votes and United Party candidate Johnathan Peffer received 75 votes in the county.In Butler County, the 10th District includes only Slippery Rock borough and township. The district is heavily influenced by voters in Beaver and Lawrence counties.Bernstine also led in the other two counties in the district. In Lawrence County's unofficial returns showed a mix of some mail-in votes as well as in-person results. With 74 of 75 precincts tallied, Bernstine led with 7,373 votes, followed by Cole with 3,496, and Peffer with 2,247.

State Rep. Marci Mustello finds herself ahead in her bid for reelection to the state House of Representatives' 11th District.According to the county's unofficial returns Tuesday night, Mustello, a Republican, has the lead with 19,067 votes to her opponent Democrat Sam Doctor's 4,307 votes. Election results are unofficial and do not include all mail-in ballots.

n a three-way race characterized by a slew of yard signs, mass mailings and a billboard on the back of a truck, incumbent state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-12th, appears to have a sizeable lead in his reelection campaign, but one challenger said he wants to wait for all ballots to be tabulated.Metcalfe has netted more than 20,000 votes as of midnight, giving him a 50-percentage point lead over Daniel Smith Jr., his Democratic challenger. More than 350 write-in votes were tallied, but the names on those were not immediately available. Republican Scott Timko ran a write-in campaign.Results as of midnight do not include all mail-in, absentee, military and provisional ballots, and are not official.Despite what appears to be a large victory for Metcalfe — who won the seat over Smith in 2018 by less than 20 percentage points — Smith said he wanted mail-in ballots counted.

It appears state Rep. Jim Marshall will serve an eighth term in the 14th legislative district, according to unofficial election returns.Marshall, a Republican, ran against newcomer Zachary Wilson, a Democrat who is an EMT and delivery driver from New Sewickley Township, Beaver County.The 14th district covers Beaver County and Evans City, Harmony, Zelienople and Jackson and Lancaster townships in Butler County.Marshall vanquished Wilson in every Butler County precinct in the district.In Beaver County, Marshall earned 80% of all votes to Wilson's 20%.

Rep. Jeffrey Pyle ran unchallenged for the state's 60th District. With 3,540 votes, he is the projected winner.Pyle, a Republican, represents a district that dips into parts of Armstrong, Butler and Indiana counties.Pyle was elected to the House in 2005. Election results are unofficial and do not include all mail-in ballots.

Robert Lee James is the projected winner for the 64th district in the state's House of Representatives.Election results are unofficial and do not include all mail-in ballots, but so far, 2,085 people have voted for him.Michael Bagdes-Canning ran against James as a Green Party candidate, gaining 307 votes. The results do not include mail-in ballots as of Tuesday night. Bagdes-Canning, a retired teacher from Cherry Valley, said he ran a grassroots campaign on a platform against corporate spending and fracking.In 2016, Bagdes-Canning also tried to unseat James but lost to the incumbent with less than 3% of the vote.
