Man sentenced for possession in prison
David D. Graczyk
An Allegheny County man was sentenced to state prison in Butler County Court on Thursday, after being charged with possession of contraband in the Butler County Prison.
David D. Graczyk, 31, of Avalon was sentenced to two to four years in a state correctional facility by county Judge William Shaffer, after previously entering a guilty plea to felony contraband.
Graczyk said he is “ready to accept full responsibility for my actions and move forward.”
He was charged by Butler County detectives after he was caught with prescription medication and tobacco in the facility. Police said remains of chewed tobacco in the toilet of the cell gave him away.
