No injuries were reported in a two-car accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of South Main and West Wayne streets.

City police said the cars were traveling in opposite directions on Wayne Street and they collided at the intersection where one of the cars was attempting to turn onto Main Street at 4:15 p.m. The drivers were alone in both cars.

Traffic at the busy intersection was slowed while flatbed tow trucks removed the cars.
