COUNTYMaridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., is displaying “Love in Bloom,” a new temporary exhibit featuring 14 pieces from the museum’s 19th century Meissen porcelain collection, through March. A spring film series “Presenter’s Favorites” starts March 14. Films begin at 6 p.m. Admission to the films is free, but donations are accepted and reservations are required. Maridon hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Museum admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8 accompanied by an adult. PITTSBURGHFort Pitt Museum in Point State Park, will kick off its speaker series with a lecture on the 1779 Bucktooth Run Battlefield at 11 a.m. Saturday. The program is sponsored by the Seneca Nation Tribal Historic Preservation Office. Registration for the program is $5 for adults and students. Call 412-237-3400.Children’s Museum, Allegheny Square, hosts TapeScape 3.0, an indoor climbing, sliding, rolling landscape made of more than 50 miles of packing tape stretched over a two-story steel frame. “Rube Goldberg: The World of Hilarious Invention!” continues through May 5.
