Around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, a white sedan ran into the back of an A.J. Meyer's school bus on Pittsburgh Road in the township.

MIDDLESEX TWP — No children were on board a bus when it was rear-ended by a car in Middlesex Township Wednesday afternoon.

Around 3 p.m., a white sedan ran into the back of an A.J. Meyer's school bus on Pittsburgh Road.

According to Middlesex police officer, Conrad Pfeifer, no children were on the bus at the time of the accident.

The cause of the accident or the conditions of either driver are unknown at this time.
