CRANBERRY TWP — The 18-month-old girl who was found unresponsive in a home on Blue Ridge Drive is in critical but stable condition at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

Township emergency officials responded the call at 118 Blue Ridge Drive at 9:25 a.m. Monday for a child unresponsive in a toy box.

The child, Camryn Surman, was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry and then transferred to Children's Hospital by medical helicopter.

"We are extremely thankful for the outpouring of support we have received from family, friends and neighbors during this difficult time. We greatly appreciate your ongoing thoughts and prayers for Camryn's recovery and ask the media to respect our privacy at this time," her family said in a statement.
