Crash knocks down power lines; about 1,800 residents without electricity
BUTLER TWP — A one-vehicle crash sheared off a utility pole on Route 68 at Linsdale Drive, sending power lines to the ground about 10:40 a.m. and leaving about 1,800 residents without power.
Fire police diverted westbound traffic on Route 68 onto Duffy Road.
There also were reports of traffic lights out in the area of the crash.
