Johnston gets win as driver-trainer
WASHINGTON, Pa. — Aaron Johnston of Evans City picked up a training/driving win in harness racing action Monday at The Meadows.
Johnston trained and drove Penniman — a 6-year-old gelding — to victory in a $6,600 Conditioned Trot in 1 minute, 56.3 seconds. That matched the fastest win of Penniman’s career.
