SRU volleyball gets academic honors
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Slippery Rock University women’s volleyball team has been selected as a recipient of the USMC/American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the fifth straight season.
Teams must maintain at least a 3.30 grade point average to earn the award. SRU’s team GPA was 3.433 last season with 15 players maintaining at least a 3.25.
