SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University’s women’s softball team is picked to finish seventh in the PSAC West this spring on the preseason coaches poll.

Gannon is picked to win the West, followed by Seton Hill, Indiana (Pa.) University, California (Pa.), Mercyhurst, Pitt-Johnstown, SRU, Clarion and Edinboro.

The Rock returns nine players who started at least 11 games last season. SRU was 6-12 in the abbreviated 2020 campaign.
