Helen Nunamaker

Helen L. Nunamaker, 86, of Butler, passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 12, 1934, in St. Charles, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James S. and C. Imogene (Painter) Marshall.

Helen was a high school graduate of Redbank Valley.

She was employed as a sales associate for Kmart, retiring after 20 years.

She enjoyed tending to her flowers, and most of all, loved the time spent with her family, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter and a son, Debra J. Myers and her husband, Daniel, of Butler, and Ray K. Nunamaker and his wife, Patty, of New Castle; six grandchildren, Joshua Fry and his wife, Amee, Jessica Moore and her husband, Trevor, Holli Waddell and her husband, John, Ryan Nunamaker, Mathew Nunamaker, and Amy Goldthwaite and her husband, Scott; eight great-grandchildren, Lyllian, Eleanore, Adalyne, Kyler, Margaret, J. Wesley, Ryleigh and Kolby; two brothers, James W. Marshall of Canton, Ohio, and Randy Lynn Marshall and his wife, Diana, of Hudson, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond K. Nunamaker, who died Sept. 30, 1990; and four brothers and one sister, Robert S. Marshall, Betty J. Van Horn, Stanley C. Marshall, Edgar Allan Marshall and Thomas B. Marshall.

NUNAMAKER — Family and friends of Helen L. Nunamaker, who died Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, are invited to a viewing from 10 a.m. until noon Friday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will be held at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert S. Edmundson officiating.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
