Joy Thompson and Derrick Hoffer

A Sept. 25 wedding is being planned by Joy Thompson of Butler and Derrick Hoffer Jr. of Latrobe.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Pamela Thompson of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Derrick and Vanessa Hoffer of Latrobe.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Calvary Academy. She attended Faith Baptist School of Theology in Seneca.

Her fiance graduated in 2004 from Bible Baptist Christian Academy of Latrobe and is a 2008 graduate of The Crown College in Powell, Tenn.
