James McCorkle and Jessica Cratty

An Aug. 1 wedding is being planned by Jessica Cratty of Evans City and James McCorkle of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Douglas and Carla Cratty of Evans City. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are James and Kathryn McCorkle of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of the Citizens School of Nursing. She is employed by Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, where she is a staff registered nurse.

Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock University. He works for the Department of Conservation and National Resources. He is the park manager of Chapman State Park in Warren.
