Micah Mikus and Elizabeth Thompson

An Aug. 29 wedding is being planned by Elizabeth Thompson of Slippery Rock and Micah Mikus of New Kensington.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Harold and Denise Thompson of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Michael and Tracey Mikus of Tarentum.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Butler Beauty School and a 2008 graduate of Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. She is employed by Emerald Salon and Day Spa in New Kensington.

Her fiancé graduated in 2003 from Thompson Education Services. He works at Eastman Tire Supply in Saxonburg.
