Meredith Smith and James Lindsay

A Sept. 19 wedding is being planned by Meredith Smith and James Lindsay, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Douglas Smith and Elaine Swartzlander, both of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Terry and Joan Lindsay of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Butler County Community College. She is a registered nurse in the emergency department at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh.

Her fiance graduated in 1999 from Butler High School. He is a certified technician at Zanotti Motor Co. in Butler.
