Christie, Chess
A Jan. 1 wedding is being planned by Sharon Christie of Butler and Robert Chess.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward and Cheryl Davis III of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert and Debbie Chess of Smithfield.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2003 graduate of Allegheny College. She is also a graduate of Case Western University, where she received an registered nursing degree in 2005 and a master's in nursing in 2008. she is employed as a nurse practitioner at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
Her fiance graduated in 1996 from Geibel Catholic High School. He graduated in 1999 with an associate degree in electrical engineering technology and in 2002 with a bachelor's in marketing and management, both from Penn State. He is employed at Baker Installations.
