Michael Ryan and Kendra Shook

A July 9 wedding is being planned by Kendra Shook and Michael Ryan, both of Evans City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Roy and Nancy Shook of Canfield, Ohio. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Russell and Cathy Ryan of Petrolia.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of South Range Local High School and a 2008 graduate of Youngstown State University, where she received a bachelor’s in chemical engineering. She is employed by Calgon Carbon Corp. in Pittsburgh.

Her fiance graduated in 2005 from Karns City High School and in 2009 from Thiel College, where he received a bachelor’s in mathematics. He is employed by the Karns City School District.
