Katlyn Steighner and Matthew Walsh

An August wedding is being planned by Katlyn Steighner and Matthew Walsh, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Denise Johnston and Dan Steighner of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Susan Graham of Butler and John Walsh of Vero Beach, Fla.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Clarion University. She is employed by the Center for Community Resources in Butler.

Her fiance graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2008 from Slippery Rock University. He is in the U.S. Air Force.
