Katelyn Farney and Robert Jahn

A Sept. 17 wedding is being planned by Katelyn Farney and Robert Jahn, both of Apex, N.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Doug and Judy Farney of Saxonburg. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Greg and Jan Ellison and Dan and Karen Jahn, all of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Knoch High School. She graduated in 2007 with a diploma from the Citizen’s School of Nursing. She will graduate in 2011 from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s in nursing. She is employed by the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.

Her fiance graduated in 2003 from Butler High School and in 2009 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He is employed by General Electric Aviation in Durham, N.C.
