Carissa Fishel and Jesse Smolen

A June 4 wedding is being planned by Carissa Fishel and Jesse Smolen, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Daniel and Judy Fishel.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are the late James Smolen and Diane Smolen.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2007 graduate of La Roche College, where she received a bachelor’s in education. She is employed by Kids Count Family Psychological.

Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Knoch High School. He is employed with Interstate Pipe and Supply Company.
