Atwood, Madigan
A Sept. 3 wedding is being planned by Dr. Allison Atwood and Dr. Michael Madigan, both of Pittsburgh.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Herman and Paula Atwood of Warren, Pa. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Dr. James and Beverly Madigan of Butler.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Warren High School and a 2004 graduate of Grove City College, where she received a bachelor’s. She graduated in 2010 from Vanderbilt University with a Ph.D. in cancer biology. She is employed by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Her fiance graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s. He graduated in 2007 from Vanderbilt Medical School. He is a surgical resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
