Carly Porter and Sean Barry

An Aug. 13 wedding is being planned by Carly Porter and Sean Barry, both of State College.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carrie and Bill Minton and Dan Porter, all of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are John and Kathy Barry of Pittsburgh.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and a 2009 graduate of Penn State University. She is employed as a communications specialist at Minitab in State College.

Her fiance graduated in 2001 from Baldwin High School and in 2005 from Penn State University. He is employed as a software engineer at Minitab in State College.
