Lipsitz, Shapiro
A May 29 wedding is being planned by Megan Lipsitz and Nathan Shapiro, both of Arlington, Va.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kathy and Marc Lipsitz of Pittsburgh. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Dianne and Murray Shapiro of Butler.
The couple met at age 12 at overnight summer camp in Morgantown, W.Va.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Allderdice High School. She received a bachelor’s from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., and a master’s in special education from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She is employed as a preschool teacher of children with autism by the Fairfax County School District in Virginia.
Her fiance graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and in 2004 from Penn State University with a bachelor’s in business logistics. He will graduate in August with a master’s of business administration from George Mason University. He is employed by Long and Foster Realtors in Vienna, Va.
