Seth Conklin and Amanda Miner

An Oct. 1 wedding at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid, N.Y., is being planned by Amanda Miner and Seth Conklin.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Colleen Miner of Saranac Lake, N.Y. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Scott and Bernadette Conklin of Valencia.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Saranac Lake High School and a 2009 graduate of DeSales University, where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in theology. She is employed by Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries in King of Prussia.

Her fiance graduated in 2006 from Aquinas Academy in Pittsburgh. He graduated cum laude in 2010 with a bachelor’s in philosophy and a minor in theology from DeSales University. He is employed a teacher at Regina Coeli Academy in Windmoor, Pa.
