The Spanglers in 1971

Don and Nonie Spangler of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Spangler married the former Nonie Elliott on July 10, 1971, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have one daughter, Amy Spangler of Butler, and one grandson.

Spangler retired from Armco Steel in 1994 after 30 years of service and is the owner of Spangler Classic Corvette and Southern Classic Cars.

Mrs. Spangler is retired from the Butler Area School District.

The Spanglers are members of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Butler.
