'Vague threat' being investigated this morning
A “vague threat that was posted on social media” has prompted the Butler Area School District to contact area police Wednesday morning.
Classes will begin at their regularly scheduled time Wednesday, but there will be an increased law enforcement presence on campus this morning.
The incident comes several days after a bomb threat at Butler Intermediate High School disrupted classes for several hours.
