Man sentenced for drug dealing

Bryant K. Wells Jr.

A Pittsburgh man was sentenced to state prison in Butler County Court on Thursday, after being accused of selling drugs in the Butler area.

Bryant K. Wells Jr., 26, was sentenced to two to four years in state prison by Judge Timothy McCune, after pleading guilty on Aug. 9 to two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance — heroin and crack cocaine.

The Butler County Drug Task Force filed the charges after a search warrant was executed at an apartment on Hansen Avenue in Lyndora, arresting the resident and four others.

Officers seized 215 stamp bags of suspected heroin, about 9 grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale, a small amount of marijuana and $664 in cash as well as multiple cell phones, according to court records.

A full report will appear in the Butler Eagle.
