Susan Jane Weitzel, 77, of Butler passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at her home.

She was born Aug. 18, 1943, in Butler, the daughter of the late Thomas and Twila (Lauster) Kennedy.

Susan was a member of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Weitzel of Butler, whom she married Jan. 2, 1969; two brothers, Clair Gene Kennedy and Phillip Kennedy, both of Butler; a sister, Carole Chesin of Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy and Roy Kennedy.

WEITZEL — Friends of Susan Jane Weitzel, who died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with her pastor, Thomas McMeekin, officiating.

Private interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
