Florence E. Weitzel, 95, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 1, 1925, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Plummer Roland Weitzel and Florence (Bortmas) Weitzel.

Florence worked in the housekeeping department at the Butler VA Hospital for 33 years.

Surviving are her son, Danny J. (Marilyn) Weitzel of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Fullerton of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Darlie Betro; and four brothers.

WEITZEL — Private service and burial for Florence E. Weitzel, who died on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, will be held in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
