The manhunt continues for a suspected armed robber who apparently dropped some of the loot after holding up a fast food restaurant Wednesday night in Center Township.

Police report the unknown suspect, described as a white male, entered the Subway at Route 8 and Mercer Road just before 9 p.m., pulled out a silver handgun, and demanded money from an employee.

The robber was wearing a black hooded Adidas sweatshirt and left the store with an undisclosed amount of money, believed to be under $300, according to authorities. Some of the money reportedly fell out of a bag holding the money.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police said the suspect was last seen on foot on Mercer Road and appeared to be headed toward Butler.

A surveillance camera captured the robber on video. Police released an image of the suspect in hopes someone will recognize him.
